With summer here, the event calendar inevitably begins to fill. We live in one of the most notable summer towns – from boating to beaching to philanthropic parties to simply bopping around town, there is much to do! Some might say there is not enough time, given that our Aquidneck Island summer really stretches for three solid months. Each summer, I try to revisit places I often neglect during our winter months. One of my favorite places to revisit is the International Tennis Hall of Fame. The iconic venue has hosted some of the world’s most famous tennis players and is classic in design and sentiment. A Newport necessity. With the recent debut of our 45 Berkeley listing, I was reminded of how enjoyable the downtown life is…and that this lifestyle really affords the opportunity to reacquaint with places such as the Tennis Hall of Fame. A walk, bike, skip away from our colonial listing, the Tennis Hall of Fame on Bellevue Avenue can be accessed daily for tours. The grounds, the museum, and their summer events, are not to be missed! And don’t forget, the venue plays host to NewportFILM’s annual summer benefit, on August 4th.
Thank you, Colby Raposa for the imagery.
