There was much to recall from this year’s Golden Globe Awards. Aside from the profound remarks, fashion glitz and deserving wins, there was another little something that sparked my interest. It’s no secret that I have much admiration for my dear friend Kelly Wearstler, and I loved her collaboration with InStyle to create an elevator design that is swoon worthy. The collaboration was in conjunction with Kelly’s newly launched collection of wallpapers and other home decor pieces. The elevator features wallpaper from her Crescent Collection, full of fluid brushstrokes. I’m loving Kelly’s wallpapers, each one is architectural with the perfect blend of edge and elegance. (I’ve showcased my favorites above, however be sure to view the whole collection here).
Kelly tells InStyle about her inspiration for the design: “Today’s Hollywood is old soul and new soul, enmeshed in tradition but also so wonderfully creative and modern,” says Wearstler. “The vibe for the elevator design is super chic, feminine, artful and unique – a perfect frame for spotlighting dream-worthy fashions and the film industry’s best talents.”
