Our beds are the place where we rest, restore and repair. Where we close out the noise of the day and a sense of calm washes over us. With soft sheets, soothing color palettes and feather pillows, our beds are an escape from the every day insanity of life. Headboards are a further interpretation of idea of rest and relaxation. So be it a whimsical, colorful headboard with lots of swirly detail or an ethereal slab of drift wood, headboards are the final accessory that make the napping parlor complete. Below are some of our favorite headboards- some are DIY and some are vintage finds.

Celebrating its sixth year, the Newport Antiques Show has become a seminal event for antique lovers in New England and abroad. Next weekend, over forty of the industry’s finest dealers will showcase some of the most desirable antiques the world has to offer at St. George’s School. This wonderful event will donate proceeds to the Boys & Girls Club of Newport County and the Newport Historical Society. The LKRE team will be in attendance at the preview party on Thursday, July 26th at 6pm and we will be on the lookout for pieces from one of our new favorite shops; the Roberto Freitas Antique Gallery in Stonington, CT.  Be sure to check out ticket information here!
