Psychologically the happiest color in the rainbow, yellow is known to stimulate the mental processes and nervous system, activating the memory and encouraging communication. You can do it yourself with white feathers, mason jars, heck- even your own nails- or you can cruise your favorite boutique and score a gold-dipped purse or top. However you achieve this glamorous look, do it soon so you can ride this solid-gold trend while it lasts!
Sure, in a perfect world, we would all love to have the time to take the fam out in the SUV to the Christmas tree fields, saw down the ideal tree and lug it back to the house where you’d prop it up in the ole tree stand and begin stringing up the lights. But what if you are too busy? What if your primary mode of transportation is a subway? What if your city apartment is too tiny to even consider hosting a true Christmas Tree? Heck- what if you are just over the shedding pine needles and have decided to opt for something easier and cleaner? You may be thinking, “Get a fake tree!” Au contraire.
